The JICA Expert Team (JET) to the RAPA-JICA Project:“Capacity building for improving Ecosystem-Based Management

on Divjake-Karavasta National Park”

seeks,

Local Technical Assistant

Key Responsibility:

  • Provide technical inputs, assistance and compile data and information on DKNP management issues, and protected area related fields
  • Provide technical assistance on project activities such as ecological monitoring, sustainable agriculture, sustainable fishing, etc;
  • Facilitate project related events (i.e., workshops, seminars, training, meetings) as per the project plan.
  • Provide other technical assistance as required for effective implementation of the project.

Selection Criteria:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology, environment, agriculture or related field.
  •  Minimum of 2 years work experience in related fields
  •  Excellent written and communications skills in English.
  •  Excellent skills in using PC (Office, IE, etc) for producing outputs.
